My name is Robert A. Birk. I represent clients in the Portland Metro area, in Northwest Oregon, and in Southwest Washington. I am a Sole Practitioner – that means I do all of the attorney work myself. I have 20 years of practice experience. That means I know the areas of law I practice very well. It also means I know my way around the legal system, both inside and out of the courtroom.

Some attorneys’ claim they are worth higher fees, as if you get what you pay for. But is that true? The recovery on your claim may be limited by the amount of insurance coverage held by the driver who hit you, or by your underinsured motorist coverage with your policy. This means that every dollar charged by another attorney is one less dollar for you! How does a higher fee help you then?
